Fatter people to dress down?

Almost 5 days a week, me and ml have to withstand an unsightly dress sense. Meshed cardigans, totally unsuited accessories, disastrous apparel cuts and wrong colour combos. They made me wonder if a fat lady really need to come to this state to be regarded as 'dressed up'?

As the kilos piled up over a couple of years, I realised I have dressed down a lot. From sleeveless, body hugging tops to simple loose-fitting polo tees, I think I look really simple but presentable I believe. Pleasant dressing is not about flaunting what you have (or end up not having), but also to hide your flaws, which I believe exists even in slim bodies. Attempts to bold and loud pieces may end up to be highlights of your shortcomings, and this is what I always get to see.

Do you think fatter people (cause they usually have more body shape flaws) should just dress down? Or do you think they should be encouraged to try out fashion trends/items? If so, what ways do you think they can learn and explore so that these dressings are applied more effectively?

I tink there's nothing wrong with fatter people dressing up. But... have to see if it looks nice and suitable on them. Or maybe our taste and their taste really different? Suddenly I tot of the "raincoat" dressing.

Maybe the definition of pleasant dressing is greatly different. I feel the raincoat attire is still better than the numerous accessories plus meshed wrong-colour combi cardigan. Haha.
